Apart from being a fantastic character, Dingo’s had a few claims to fame.

He appeared as an extra (well, technically as a prop!) in an episode of BBC1’s ‘The Bill’.

He appeared in a TV ident for Nicky Campbell’s show on BBC Radio 5 live.

Also, I recently stumbled on his mug-shot that was taken at a phot-shoot that he did for a photo library when he was about 4 years old. Click here to see him on the website itself (although that’s the only link we have with the website).

 

 

 

 

His latest claim to fame is having the honour of being the cover boy for Karla Spitzer’s excellent book: “The Everything Boxer Book” (available from all good bookshops)
